My favorite restaurant is Green Common. The food there is healthy but delicious.
The restaurant is just on the ground floor beneath our flat. I go there on special occasions, for example, when it was my birthday, family members’ birthday and when I have good marks on my exams. I usually go there with all my family, but sometimes I go there with just my mommy and sister when my daddy is busy. Once I went there with my friend Grace when she had a sleepover at my home.
The restaurant has a special thing——it just serves vegetarian food. They have “meat”, but it is vegetarian meat, which is made of beans. They have dishes like spaghetti with “meat” sauce, hot dogs, hamburgers, Hainanese “chicken” rice, pizza and fries… My favorite food there are spaghetti with meat sauce, fried dumpling, fries and soya milk. The food tastes very nice.
I still remember the first time I went there. It was Christmas, and there were decorations on the windows, like snowman and reindeers. And they served chocolate biscuits in many shapes and sizes. I ate a snowman biscuit, and Anna ate a Father Christmas biscuit.
I have many precious memories in this restaurant, and I can’t wait for our next time there!
